THOUSANDS OF VIETNAMESE PEOPLE BEFORE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN JAPAN
After much controversy, on November 27, the revised Immigration Control Law to expand the reception of foreign workers into Japan was passed in the House of Representatives.
On the same day, the ruling Party officially approved it after a formal session in the House of Representatives and sent it to the Senate.
The proposed amendment to the Law is based on granting new status of residence "specified skill number 1" or "number 2" to foreign workers recognized by the government for certain occupations.
It is expected that after being passed in the Senate (ongoing, ending December 10) and becoming law, Japan's reformed immigration law will create conditions for hundreds of thousands of foreign workers, including Vietnamese. Nam is coming to Japan for the next 5 years, to deal with the stress of labor shortage in Japan.
Up to now, Japan has had many preferential policies on working conditions, but only focused on high-skilled foreign workers such as professors and doctors.
With significant changes, this bill is expected to allow more unskilled workers in Japanese occupations with a large shortage of human resources to work in this country.
Accordingly, in the next 5 years, if this program is implemented, Japan will receive up to 345,150 foreign workers, including Vietnamese workers to Japan to work long-term.
